OLGA WOOD

I am an ethnic Hungarian who grew up in Romania, where I earned a nursing degree. I worked for seven years in a hospital cardiac unit in Cluj, Romania, and continued working in the same field in the US. I also have a Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree from Liberty University, where I learned to respect everyone's worldview. I am now a mental health counselor (LPC-A) and the PDI fellow at HI.

I specialize in treating the wounds of grief, trauma, life transitions, abuse, and the impact of medical emergencies on patients and family members. Medical professionals, first responders, caregivers, and family members of those with chronic illnesses often carry the trauma bound to their profession or life circumstances.

My father was a paraplegic and died when I was 16, opening my eyes to the impact of chronic illness and loss on the family system. I am passionate about helping people struggling to pick up the shattered pieces of themselves in the aftermath of trauma or loss. I believe in the healing power of human connections; I use it as a critical component in therapy. I think it is a privilege to watch people become empowered when they feel seen, heard, appreciated, and accepted for who they are.

Danielle Bumpas

I am Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFTA) with a passion for helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life's challenges and find meaningful connections. With a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, I am committed to facilitating positive change and personal growth. Currently I serve as the Marketing and Technology Fellow at Heritage and am in the process of obtaining my license.

I believe that therapy is a collaborative journey, and I am here to provide you with a safe and nonjudgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. My approach is rooted in empathy, respect, and cultural sensitivity, recognizing that each person's story is unique.

I consider it an honor to get to sit with my clients during some of their hardest days and walk with them towards hope and wellness.

Brittany Miller

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor – Associate (LPC-A) who truly enjoys coming alongside individuals on their healing journeys. I graduated from Liberty University with my master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in December of 2022. In addition to my role as an LPC-A, I also serve as the Clinical Fellow with Heritage.

As a clinician I enjoy working with a variety of populations including life changes, anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD challenges, and post-partum anxiety and depression. I consider it an honor to come alongside my clients as a guide and source of support and encouragement in their mental health journey.

It can be overwhelming to search for a new therapist, especially entrusting a stranger with your deepest thoughts and emotions. I work to provide a safe, supportive, and collaborative space for clients, so that we may work to build a strong therapeutic relationship, where clients feel empowered in their journey to find freedom in the therapy room to be their true self.

Leah Woodard

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) passionate about providing support and guidance for individuals as they navigate life's journey. I graduated from Lancaster Bible College in August 2023 with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. In addition to my role as an LPC-A, I work as the Administrative Assistant for Susan Tankersley Family Therapy and Heritage Institute.

I utilize a combination of approaches, centered on a client’s needs, to help those experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, interpersonal conflict, communication breakdown, grief/loss, life transitions, adolescent challenges, women’s issues, etc.

I believe in actively listening to help clients process what they’re experiencing, showing empathy to validate their experience, and empowering them with the tools and resources to find restoration, hope, and the ability to thrive. I count it a privilege to be entrusted with a client’s story, and look forward to be able to help the clients that come through my doors.
