Gottman Level 3
Gottman Level 3 Practicum Training - LIVE EVENT
Through videotaped cases of real couples, hands-on role plays, demonstrations of assessments and interventions, and nuanced discussion of technique, the Level 3 Practicum significantly expands your understanding of when and how to use Gottman Method approaches.
You will have the opportunity to practice and refine your use of Gottman Method therapy and receive personalized guidance in developing a roadmap for clinical decisions.
The workshop is structured to help create a safe and secure environment so participants can learn and practice while feeling free of criticism and negative judgment.

Anger Management 101
Anger is like a volcano that rumbles and then erupts. Working with clients who are angry can be very difficult. Lynn Ford, LMFT-S is a certified anger management specialist who will instruct participants into how to best help clients who struggle with anger and angry eruptions. Cost for the course is $1000. How to Start and Maintain a Thriving Private Practice
Starting a private practice can be very rewarding. However, if you don’t have the right tools or know how, like with any new endeavor, starting a private practice quickly become a nightmare instead of a dream come true. Susan Tankersley, Andrew Tankersley, and Leo Newman will be teaching you how to set up and run your private practice from a business and clinical perspective. Cost for the course is $1000. Please reserve your spot for this in person training. Space is limited in order to make sure we have a safe environment for everyone.
Grief and Loss in an ever-changing world
Grief and loss can feel overwhelming and impossible to work through. Heritage Institute is partnering with Susan Tankersley Family Therapy to bring an in person workshop on how to help clients resolve grief and loss issues. Molly McCurley, LMFT will be providing information, techniques, as well as self care tips for participants. One and a half credit hours can be earned by attending this event. You will also have a time to network with other professionals. Cost for this event is $25.
Forgiving What You Can't Forget
Forgiveness is a simple principle with an extremely difficult process. This CLINICIAN ONLY Bible Study will help us as providers understand the complexities of forgiveness and help us learn how to walk our clients through this process well. The Neurobiology of Trauma and Effective Interventions for Clients
This presentation will cover the various ways that trauma impacts the brain and body. We will highlight signs and symptoms that we may observe in clients who are not "traditional trauma" victims. Various types of trauma and the ways in which they affect clients behaviorally and emotionally will also be discussed. Finally, efficacious intervention techniques and theoretical frameworks that are beneficial for trauma clients will be reviewed.

The Coaching Relationship.
Coaching is a personal relationship between client and coach that is all about achievement, whether in business, career, or life. Coaching is extremely effective in creating successful actions designed to move the coachee in a positive direction.
4 week class, every Saturday from 2pm-4pm

*The last class will be held on Friday July 3rd from 6pm-8pm (because of Independence day)
Life Coaching 101 & 102 (Copy)
Classes will be on Saturday’s for 4 weeks starting May 16th until June 6th 2pm-4pm.
The cost is $300.00 for the 4 week class.
